This branch of the government is responsible for the fiscal accounting and viability of the Nation’s finance. All government revenue, which includes all taxation, fees for services, and savings bonds etc., representing the receipts and revenue of the government is the responsibility of the Treasury. This Department also controls the nation’s currency (when applicable), banking policies under it’s government’s jurisdiction, customs, engraving and printing. Further it disperses funds to the various departments of government according to the budget set forth by the Executive and approved by the legislature.
